I have a gif file being used as for the icon image of the application. If I have the display set to 16-bit colour then the image is displayed correctly on the botton application bar and in the top left. However when the display properties are set to 256 colours the image is just displayed in black and white. Does anyone know why ? Sometime in 16bit colour the image is slightly garbled even though the image was fully loaded using mediatracker before the setIconImage method was called. Any suggestions to why ? Cheers, Nathan Result 2000 Plc
