I use jrew.exe to run java applications that I build with JBuilder. What exactly is a JIT? My understanding is that it is a Just in Time compiler - but java is not compiled (atleast not fully) rather it is interpreted... right? Why does this not seem to make sense? Symantec Cafe has a JIT (that is licensed to Netscape)... which means what? Does a JIT provide a Java VM? Does Borland provide one? Finally is it possible to use something other than jrew.exe to speed up WinXX applications? Thanks in advance, -- Nikolaos Giannopoulos Solmar Solutions Inc. nikolaos@solmar.ca
