Hi, I've written a large project for my final year Computer Science project using JB, and I now have to demonstrate it, preferably as an applet. Essentially it takes input from two jbcl.control.TextAreaControl and places output in a third. This is fine, but I have a number of common inputs (i.e. files which I would like to be able to copy directly to one of the TextAreaControl's as the user's request). Currently I manually copy and paste from a text file, but I would like to improve this. I know that I could simply copy the contents of a FileInputStream to a text string and then insert it, but this would cause me Security problems I don't want to cope with. Alternatively I could simply store the file as a text string using an assignment, and then set the TextArea Control to that String, however the files are too big to process manually. What I really want is someway of incorporating a number of text files in the project, and deployment which can be accessed without any Security problems. Is there any way to do this? Cheers Leo
