Anyone,

I have been using the JDK 1.0 and the (now-a-days) deprecated method
"readLine" with the DataInputStream class very satisfactory. Now with
JBuilder I feel threathened to use a JDK 1.1 compatible method - do you
have any suggestions?
My program is a very heavy In- & Output-line application doing extensive
String-editing functions.
Any suggestion will be useful.
