Well I seem to be missing something here ! and all docs that I have read
gloss over the Runtime class.
My problem :-
java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec ("notepad.exe"); - works just fine
But how do you for example create a directory under NT4.0 ?
java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec ("mkdir tmp"); - fails
java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec ("command mkdir tmp"); - fails
java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec ("start mkdir tmp"); - work but
rather platform specific.
