Is there some trick to running .jar files on other computers? I installed JBuilder on 2 of my systems. I built a Java application on the first system, used the deployment wizard to create a .jar file. Copied that .jar file to second computer. From an MSDOS prompt I typed: c:\jbuilder\java\bin\jre c:\wms.jar JRE reports Class not found: wms.jar" I found no classpath setting in the autoexec.bat file of either system, so I added this line to both system's autoexec.bat files: SET CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;C:\JBUILDER\JAVA\BIN\; Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? -Frank -- Frank Cohen Community-building technology Inclusion Inc: http://www.inclusion.net/ 408 374 7426 Sun Microsystems: http://www.sun.com/ 650 786 7365 Personal: http://www.watchmysite.com/ 408 374 4456
