I have two questions about printing:

1:
When I execute:

    PrintJob pj = parent.getToolkit().getPrintJob(thisFrame,"java
print",null);
    Dimension dim = pj.getPageDimension();

dim always returns [width=612,height=792] no matter what paper size I
choose. 
How can I get the correct papersize?

2:
Is it possible to get the default printer settings?
