Hey, Do I have to worry about network-byte order using the java.net.Socket class from and intel machine to a unix server? The socket is throwing an exception "Connection reset by peer" every time I try to send some data (in this case a short) down the wire. If I do have to do NBO processing are there any helper classes? I don't want to make my code platform specific ... mark.
