Hello Maxim,
If I understood right, what you are looking for are HTML frames. You
specify the frames in the HTML source code (code follows). Then you can
specify the frame in the java code like
.showDocument(URL, "client");
if your frame is named 'client'.
Options are :
"_self" show in the current frame
"_parent" show in the parent frame
"_top" show in the topmost frame
"_blank" show in a new unnamed top-level window
name show in a new top-level window named name
name is parameter for the frame, as follows
HTML source :
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Frame test</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET ROWS="12%, 88%">
<FRAME NAME = "caption"
SRC="Caption.html"
MARGINHEIGHT=2
MARGINWIDTH=2
SCROLLING = "no"
>
<FRAMESET COLS="20%, 80%">
<FRAME NAME = "MENU"
SRC="Menu.html"
MARGINHEIGHT=2
MARGINWIDTH=2
SCROLLING = "yes"
>
<FRAME NAME = "client"
SRC="Client.html"
MARGINHEIGHT=2
MARGINWIDTH=2
SCROLLING = "yes"
>
</FRAMESET>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>
