Does it have to be set to 42L value as demonstrated here:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/io/Serializable.html

I got an java.lang.ClassCastException: demoapp.jb.OsebaJB exception when 
returning array of JavaBeans from my session EJB.
