Now it is the morning of the third day of vain attemps to run my JDK1.1 application. By this moment I have reread HintsAndTips.txt for nearly 10 times. I runned setvars.bat, but got only an "Out of environment space" message, though I got actually nothing to delete from environment settings not to harm the computer (I even deleted all classpath variables, but nothing changed). When I manually set classpath in autoexec , jre said in failed to find java.lang.Thread. So it obvious that something is wrong with my classpath, but I can't figure it out what exactly is. So I can just put down here that string from autoexec: SET CLASSPATH=C:\PROGRA~1\JBuilder\lib;jclass.zip;jbcl.zip;jgl.zip;..\Java\lib\classes.zip So if you know what the problem is, PLEASE answer me, even if it is so stupid that you always thought you would never waste your time in answering to such question. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I REALLY appreciated your answer. PS: If you know where to find a program like JavaRun (running application through association in Windows95), please drop the address as well.
