Hi all. I have a java class which only works when I set the date format in the control panel to a specific value. I am not actually manipulating dates myself, but preparing the ground for a 3rd party API call. This call fails unless the locale settings are just right. So what I need to do is set the system level date format *At runtime*. As a Delphi programmer I am used to having access to 'ShortDateFormat' and 'LongDateFormat' variables to solve the problem. Can this be done in Java ? Cheers Hugh.
