Well, who says anyone's proud or blind or both?

I'll tell you why I don't worry about it:

I have to get some work done.

The size of a Java object is trivia compared to
the problems we face every day on our jobs. Were
I at the university, and wondering about navels
and object sizes; I'd be thrilled. Right now,
I'm having a panic attack fixing a Perl-based
Web app! (Yes, I said Perl in a JBuilder newsgroup.)
It makes spaghetti look well-ordered. Now if
you want a crusade, go after Perl and blind pride.
