When I update Timestamp fields, I want to ignore my GMT.

Currently, if I create a timestamp using an expression like this
new Timestamp(1998, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

and save it to database, it saves:
01/01/1998 03:00

What I must do to avoid this?

I think that if I try
new Timestamp(1997, 11, 31, 21, 0, 0, 0)
it will save what I want but I don't like it.

Anything else?
