I tried your suggestion with your luck. It seems that there is a problem with the driver. I guess that JB expects something from the driver that the native oracle drivers are not capable of. today I executed successfully a select statement and when I tried to call saveChanges I got the same exception (Driver could not be loaded). Now I have to use the Oracle 8 driver in order to have Greek but I cant' use it inside applets. Only in applications... -- Papadomichelakis John "Unite for Java! - http://www.javalobby.org" __________________________________________________ email : michelos@freemail.gr TEL : 30 31 758 429, 30 31 709 796 __________________________________________________ --------------14BA81F219E3FC46A5A5F652 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=iso-8859-7; name="kefrem.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Papadomichelakis John Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="kefrem.vcf" begin:vcard n:Papadomichelakis;John x-mozilla-html:TRUE org:BIA adr:;;;Thessaloniki;;56224;Hellas version:2.1 email;internet:michelos@freemail.gr x-mozilla-cpt:;0 tel;home:758 429 tel;work:267 923 fn:John Papadomichelakis end:vcard --------------14BA81F219E3FC46A5A5F652--
