Hi you all out there, what I am trying to do in java is to download a file from a certain url. The method I have come about is to use the undocumented sun.net.ftp class. But is there any standard method in java that is documented? Would be even more pleased to get some sample code for that. Yours Thomas

Your best bet would be Commons Net from the Jakarta project: http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/net/ Sample code is available all over the place.
