Hello from New Zealand,

Can anyone advise me as to how to code an association between objects. I need to know how to turn a class diagram into java code.

eg One (1) apartment Object has 0 or more(0..*) tenant Objects.

If you're using a UML modelling tool like Together or Rational Rose,
you can convert your diagrams to code automatically.  However, it
sounds like you could use some help with design patterns overall.  A
search on Google produces a number of useful links:
