IExplorer won't show my applets

Hi,

In JBuilder I can run my applets but since I installed a newer Windows, that
@#% Internet Explorer blocks all my applets. When I open a page that tries
to open the applet I first get that yellow warning bar above, asking me to
allow this content. So I say yes but nothing happens. No messages show or
errors in the Console show up either.

Both JRE and JDK are installed, and I checked some options in the Explorer
Security part but no succes. What can I do to view my applets again? Or is
it possbile to completely disable that annoying Windows Warning stuff that
treats me like a little kid trying to download porn?

Greetings,
Rick

You haven't helped yourself much by stating what version of windows is
causing the problem and which jdk/jre you are using, but my GUESS is that
you are talking about Windows XP SP2.

Try googling on "IE applet allow content"

My first hit http://www.phdcc.com/xpsp2.htm seems to answer most of the
issues that I seem to remember wading through and fixing piecemeal.

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for helping! I'm using WinXP sp2 indeed.
That page hits the spot, I can't check my local applets. I'll check this
out, thanks again.
