Hi,

(Attention: My english is not very good, my first language is french)

I have a big problem, and I thing it is a BUG, but I am not sure if it is
in
de "Javabean Bridge for ActiveX" or in the "Swing" Librarie.

I use JDK 1.1.6 and Swing 1.01 (the one include with JBuilder 2). I use
also
ActiveXBridge1.0 of Sun and I am on Windows 95.

NOTE: I try the ActiveXBridge1.1 (the one in the java plug-in1.1) and the
problem is not resolved.(Furthermore it causes me other problems)

To reproduce my problem it is very simple:
- you create a JPanel with a JTextField in it .

if you run that it is OK.
if you package it in a JAR file and put it in the BeanBox, it is OK
But,
if you bring that JAR file and put it in the ActiveX Bridge, to have the
JPanel an ActiveX.
And you put it in a form in Visual Basic 5 (service pack#3)
Then YOU CANNOT TYPE IN THE JTEXTFIELD!!!! IT AS THE FOCUS AND IT IS
ENABLE(TRUE)
BUT YOU CANNOT TYPE IN IT !!!!!

I am sure there is a bug somewhere in your thing, but I am not sure where
because I found a workaround, to help
isolate the bug, but the workaround is not acceptable in my development
(mixing awt and swing component have a visual effect
because my application have tab and when I change of tab it have Visual
effects!!! (the TextField is appearing before the other swing component)

WorkAround:
if you put in the Jpanel and other control like TextField(awt). Then a
Bizarre thing happen (when I am in the activeX in VB5)
- if you first type in the JTextField, YOU CANNOT TYPE IN IT !!!
then if you type in the TextField (awt), You can type in it AND YOU CAN
ALSO
TYPE IN THE JTEXTFIELD !!!!!

I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE TO MY PROBLEM.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH
