JDesktopPane - Not a bean?

I was looking into the JDesktopPane Container in the Swing package and found
that I cannot get it to load onto the component tab. It was my
understanding that all the Swing components were Javabeans. Does anyone
know why either JBuilder does not recognize the bean or Swing does not
report it as a bean? This would be a pretty cool component to be able to
just drag and drop onto the design pane.
