How can I prevent further input once x # of characters have been entered into either a JTextField or a JTextArea control? I know that the answer lies somewhere in tweaking either control's document model, but I'm not sure what method to call, or when. Does anybody have any ideas, suggestions, or code samples on this one? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, David Jensen <jensend@txen.com>
