The java/swing forums I use are:

Borland Swing newsgroup - an excellent forum of course!

Advanced java forum.
Volume - 40+ messages per day
You can get there by following this link
http://www.xcf.berkeley.edu/lists.html
There are a lot of non-swing related messages but the swing proportion seems
to be growing

Advanced Swing
Volume - around 5 messages per day and growing
To subscribe send an empty note to
<advanced-swing-subscribe@eos.dk>

Java and GUI
Volume - around 5 messages per day

Swingin' Forum
Volume - around 5 messages per day.
To access this forum you have to buy "Up to Speed With Swing" which is
targeted at Swing beginners/intermediate users - not a bad book really.
Actually its the only Swing book I know of.

The author, Steve Gutz is pretty good at answering everyone's questions.

Anyone interested can follow this link

Hope this helps. If there are any other decent forums/books on Swing please
let me know
