I go back and forth on this one. The Deployment Wizard and the GridBag Layout dialog boxes are sometimes resizable. Only rarely are the dialogs we've set to be resizable actually cooperative in this matter. But for the most part, "this.setResizable(true)" just doesn't work. What's the magic ingredient, if any? Instead of a new API per minute, or some stupid Linux port (as if that's important -- what, it's used by teenaged hackers after midnight on 1% of PeeCees on Earth and Mars?! Big effing deal! Again, a tiny, but vocal fringe ...!), Sun ought to just concentrate on getting to a point where they can say, "It just works." Paul Furbacher
