Hi, I would like to use a progress bar while exporting an applet reference to the server (RMI), but when I ask my Dialog to appear, the method exporting the reference takes so much memory that the JDialog does not complety displays, and when all what I do is done, then the JDialog (containing the JProgressBar) appears and disappears ! How to tell the JVM to wait for the JDialog to be completly displayed before continuing some code ? I am afraid that using a thread in the JDialog even with a high priority will not solve the problem... Any idea ? Thierry
