I am very new to this and just wanted to get a few things cleared up.

1/ If I want my applet to work on the Web must I limit my self to Swing 
controls ?

2/ When adding swing controls to a class or applet they don't seem to 
place themselves where they have been dropped eg in the middle of the 
frame.  They do odd things like stick themselves to edge or top of the 
frame.  How can I stop this?
