I'm trying to capture the value of jbuilder command line interface after -build. I am trying to automate our build through Perl and I can't seem to capture the value of jbuilder. I can capture the stderr and stdout but not the result of jbuilder which suppose to be 0 if everythings compile and build.

Let me know, thank you

Are you speaking of the jdk compiler? I am not sure what you mean by
jbuilder command line interface.

I'm asking about Borland JBuilder command line interface where you can build projects through command line, for example:

$>jbuilder -build myproject.jpx -rebuild

Let me know, thank you.

This sounds more like a perl question than a JBuilder question.
Typically you'd use $? (or $CHILD_ERROR) to get the status of a child
process.
