I have been able to run JBX on MDK 10.0 no problems, but with MDK10.1 it is broken. It comes up with this error: ./jbuilder: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The standard answer is to install the compatibility library: compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118.i386.rpm However, doing this now makes JBX silently fail. no startup but no errors either. Anyone managed to get past this phase? The correct solution would be to NOT use the jbuilder binary but be able to call the JAR files directly... does anyone know how to do this?

What JDK are you using? If it is the one that came with JBuilder, that
may not work right on Mandrake 10.1.
When I've run into such a problem, I usually move/rename the jdk
directory and then make a soft link to a compatible version of the JDK
that is installed and confirmed working on that system. (1.4.1 I believe
is the one that came with JBX).
