Hello, I am using Vdb7 and I noticed that when I use a SQL statement other than "select * from 'mytable.dbf'", if I attach that SQL statement to a query and attach the query to a Grid and then try to edit the information, it says that the rowset is "Read-only". Example: SELECT Callhistory.CONTACT_DT, Callhistory.CONTACT_TM, Callhistory.RESPONSE, Callhistory.CONTACT_RESPONSE FROM "callhistory.dbf" Callhistory, "rparams.dbf" Rparams WHERE Callhistory.SS_NO = Rparams.C3 ORDER BY Callhistory.CONTACT_DT, Callhistory.CONTACT_TM This sql statement when attached to a grid generates a "Read-only" rowset. Is there any way around this or a different way to Edit the rowset generated by this sql statement? Thanks in advance, Trent Crawley
