Hi,
i have this problem:
In a form i have 2 tables in father-child relation as the sample;

this.DATABASE1 = new DATABASE()
   this.DATABASE1.parent = this
   with (this.DATABASE1)
      left = 7
      top = 2
      databaseName = "PIPPO"
      active = true
   endwith

   this.QUERY1 = new QUERY()
   this.QUERY1.parent = this
   with (this.QUERY1)
      left = 14
      top = 2
      database = form.database1
      sql = 'select * from "father.dbf"
      active = true
   endwith

   this.QUERY2 = new QUERY()
   this.QUERY2.parent = this
   with (this.QUERY2)
      left = 20
      top = 2
      database = form.database1
      sql = 'select * from "child.dbf"
      active = true
   endwith

   with (this.QUERY2.rowset)

      indexName = "CODICEID"
      masterRowset = parent.parent.query1.rowset
      masterFields = "PADREID"
   endwith


How a can do for filter the record of the father table for a field of the
child table???
I use the form.query2.rowset.filter="CAMPO=(valore)" but don't work...
I use the relation because in the same form i have also other filter for
other fields of the father table that make a seletion on the realtion...

Is it possible use the COSTRAIND of the old visual dbase 5.6 and if yes
where???
