The code presented was the actual code. The only part missing is the tables
and the following code that gets executed before that given in the first
part of the thread;

   LOCAL soPrjNr, oAm, oAmt, oIAmt, oInt

   OPEN DATABASE FMPROJ
   SET DATABASE TO FMPROJ

   soPrjNr = NEW ARRAY()
   SELECT FY,PONR FROM 'C:\PONRCONV\PROJ.DBF'
   DO WHILE .NOT. EMPTY(FY)
      soPrjNr.Add(1)
      soPrjNr[soPrjNr.Size] = FY+'-'+PONR
      SKIP
   ENDDO
   Close DATABASES
.
.
.

This program has no form input. This code loads the array soPrjNr with
project order numbers from the PROJ.DBF table to be looked up in the AMEND
table and calculates the INT_AMOUNT to be updated in the AMEND table. The
code reads and updates 600 records in the AMEND table before giving the
error. I have found that if I set the from value in the for..next to the
next array sub-script after the failure, the program will complete the
table. This will complete the calculations, but does not answer the
question as to why the error. It almost appears when methods for the array
class are executed VDB looses count of open UDFs. I would really like to
know as I am real fond of loops. If it would help, I could attach tables
with code and email to you. I would appreciate the help.
