Joe - To insert a field into an existing table, you need the SQL ALTER TABLE command: ALTER TABLE <table name> ADD <field name> <data type> For a memo field, the data type would be BLOB(n,1), where "n" is the length in bytes. It seems to work OK using just 1 for n. To insert the contents of an editor control on a form into a memo field in an existing table, set the DataLink property of the control to the field. E.g.: form.editor1.DataLink = "MYTABLE->MEMO1" -- Gary Thoenen (TeamB)
