To get you started I suggest you down load Borland's TI (Tech Info) 2718,
Using Local SQL in dBase for windows. It can be down loaded from the
support page of Borland online. It gives some examples using SQLEXEC().
Most examples can be used with standard SQL statments, but you will find,
an I read some where, 5.6 uses a subset of ANSI 92. I have not found
anywhere this is documented. It is just trial and error. In VDB 7.0 it
should be a full implmentation of SQL ANSI 92. Some of what I learned, I
learned from the InterBase that came with C++Builder. Hope this helps.
