BARDATAEDIT ?

Hi,

At last i'm going to switch from VDB 5.6 to 7.01....
but there are the first problems.

When I create a form and set the View to a database, put
a BARDATAEDIT on the form, the BARDATAEDIT disapears when
you run the form. This is still the basic stuff, but it's
going wrong already...maybe I'm doing something wrong..but
where's the problem ?

Also when you put a BARDATAEDIT on a rectangle, you don't
see the BARDATAEDIT always, even when you set the rectangle
to the background....when you run the form and then Design
again....the BARDATAEDIT is on his place.

Greetings Peter

Don't use the view and designview properties of the form. The Visual
dBASE 7 OODML works very very very differently than you're used to.

The button disappears because there is no rowset associated with the
form's rowset property. (It's coded to do that)

I seriously suggest you go to my website or Gary's mirror (see my
signature below) and get the tutorial ...
