Text Fields NOT Retaining Values

Hi all

I do a lot of work from home and when I download a form from diskette to my
workstation at the office I find that the forms text fields I've created at
home do not retain their assigned values when I run them. If I examine the
source code the values are present and correct BUT when I use the form
designer they display their previous value of "kmcusttext". What am I doing
wrong?

Regards
Larry

Can you show the smallest possible example?

Do you, by any chance, have two different versions of the FORMCNTL.CC
file? One at work and one at home that are different? I have been
making some radical changes to these things ...

I will check out the versions and see if I can spot any variances.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. It's a real pain in to have to keep
on entering the value every time I load the forms back into the designer.

It shouldn't be necessary. I can't imagine why it would be doing that
....
