version 5.6 I was using a QBE with 7 files, and in the FORM_ONOPEN section was doing this: Select 1 go top copy to array array1 Select 2 go top copy to array array2 ETC.... there are no relations or indexes in the QBE. I found that only the first array was showing the correct values, the others showing only the value of the last record. And when I would copy back to the file form the array, except for the first file, all the others had blank, non-editable fields. Then I added SET FIELDS OFF as the last line of the QBE, and all of a sudden it works. Is this something that everyone knows, or am I making a right by using two wrongs?? Thanks, Glenn

You can really see this when you have a Set Relation... included. Double click the QBE file and Select different work areas to see how the Browse is affected; I think it will help you understand this better. I just delete the Set Fields... line the designer streams out, but Set Fields Off may be quicker. File looks messier though. -- Please edit Return Email Address before sending.
