I have a form with status messages for every field. When I run the form, the status message is not shown for the first field (for all the other fields it's OK). What's wrong? Thanks for the answers. Luc.

Does it show if the first field loses focus and then regains it? You might try explicitly setting focus to it in the onOpen event of the form. What's happens is that when a form is opened the first field that received focus don't shows its status message. After leaving the field and returning to the same field, it's OK. Strange... Maybe a bug in Visual dBASE 7.x ? Greetings, Luc. > > > Please move to the dBASE2000 News Groups at > news://news.dbase2000.com > as soon as possible The groups here will close very soon. Maybe a bug in Visual dBASE 7.x ? I played with this a little, trying to see if I could duplicate it and find a work around. I can duplicate it and don't see a work around. The interesting part is that I can see the status message displayed as the form is opening and then it disappears. It may well be a bug. > > Please move to the dBASE2000 News Groups at > > news://news.dbase2000.com > > as soon as possible The groups here will close very soon. > > I will have a look some day. The groups here will cease to exist very soon. Please move to the dBASE2000 News Groups at news://news.dbase2000.com as soon as possible The groups here will close very soon.
