Do I have to use DMD to place two seekers on a form? When I try to use the second seeker with a different rowset, the rowset field choices are added to one of the other rowset's field choices (!?), and the seeker is not functional (although the 1st seeker works fine).

The SEEKER class uses the FORM's rowset ... you might modify them so that when they get focus they set the form's rowset property to the appropriate rowset ... Instead, I'd recommend making use of the Seeker's .Rowset custom property. If you don't assign anything to that custom property, Seeker operates on Form.Rowset, but if you assign a valid rowset to it, it operates on that specified rowset. Much cleaner, because that way you don't have to ever switch Form.Rowset. And no, you don't need a DMD (though it's recommended). -------------------------- Peter Rorlick Montreal Business Software

Then I assign the rowset in the form INIT event, so I can have several seekers using different rowsets without changing the form.rowset property. (Also have a set of nav buttons that do the same.)
