Blue Line Talent is seeking a talented Software CM/Production Support
pro with skills in software Build/Version Control - SQL Server, IIS,
TFS.

Location: Broomfield, CO area (commutable from Denver/Boulder)

Job Overview: 
Perform software configuration management (CM), source
control, version control - multiple software development assets
(source code, binary objects, requirements and design artifacts,
etc.)
This is a non-traditional software CM role with diverse and
challenging tasks plus lots of opportunity to learn and grow
Provide production support for software environment - SQL Server, TFS,
IIS, SQL, .Net, C#

Perform activities to baseline the existing environments in
conjunction with implementations of CM policy.
Contribute to CM policy and procedure 
Create and maintain software
build and installation packaging documentation in coordination with
development and Q/A staff.
Automate software build activities
Schedule, perform and notify stakeholders of release software builds.
Enforce acceptance criteria of turnover packages: code, documentation
and other types of software development assets.

Communicate CM methods to development staff.

Qualifications - Required and Desired:
4+ years experience in any combination of the following roles:
Software CM, version control, software build, release management,
software production support, software development and/or technical
support.
Strength in production support tasks, debugging/supporting code issues
in a for SQL Server (2005, 2008 preferred) environment
1+ years experience in web site deployment and support with Internet
Information Services (IIS)
Experience with with source control.
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Visual
Studio is helpful
Experience writing batch files 
Software development experience
helpful - experience building, compiling code

Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve
complex technical issues
Current/recent work experience configuring and deploying in to these
environments: IIS, MS SQL Server, Team Foundation Server (TFS 2008,
2010 preferred)

Current experience building from these code sets .NET, C#, SQL.
Understanding of full life-cycle methodology for commercial software
products.
Able to support flexible Production deployment schedule.

Successful candidates for this position could possess these skills
from software development, technical support or related roles



Preferred Experience/Attributes:
Expertise in current Internet Information Services (IIS)
.Net, and MS SQL Deployment and Configuration.

MSBuild, MSMQ, MSMQ, MSDTC
Custom Windows Service, PowerShell 
Skills with .Net windows service
preferred
Windows 2003/2008
Experience in production support (7x24)

Familiar with Agile work environment

Experience with a mix of software configuration and deployment
management
