I have a Packard Bell 486 DX-2/66 and an Acer Pentium 75 for sale or
trade.

Here are the specs:

Packard Bell 486 DX-2/66 Intel
340 or 420 MB hard drive (don't remember)
14" .28 dot pitch NI monitor
2X CD-ROM
16-bit sound card
either 4 or 12 Megs RAM ($140 more for 12megs than for 8) (72-pin)
3.5", 5.25" floppies
14,400/9,600 fax/modem
96/24 fax/modem (yes, it has two modems, both internal... the 96/24 came
with
it and is currently disabled... if you don't want the 14,400/9,600,
know off about
  $45)
decent SVGA video card (1024x768x256 non-interlaced)

Acer Pentium 75
830 MB hard drive
14" monitor (don't know other specs)
4X CD-ROM
16-bit sound card
8 megs 72-pin RAM with 2 empty slots
3.5" floppy
14,400/9,600 fax/modem
lovely blue/green color (looks a bit like an SGI indy... just a bit,
though)
less than 5 months old; barely used
currently a dual boot Linux/Win95 machine with several included
CD-ROMs (MS-Works and some others)
haven't yet tested the video card

OK, what I'm interested in for trades:

good monitor (15" or 17", high resolution, probably NEC or Sony,
probably flat screen)
HP or Epson laser printer... preferrable 600dpi
car amplifier, crossover, speakers
RAM
GPS (someone could be trying to unload one, why not ask)
yet another computer?...
bike light (NightRider or something)

I think 72-pin RAM is going for about $129 per 8-meg SIMMs now, so any
RAM price
adjustment should be roughly figured that way.

Basically, what happened is a friend of mine needed money, so I bought
this P75
from him and am trying to sell it or my computer (the DX2)
Incidentally, he got
the 'no payments for a year' deal on it and still has to pay $1700, but
since
computer prices drop so quickly...

Anyway all I want out of this is to recover some money and come away
with a decent computer. Either one is fine... I'm looking for about
$750 for the DX2 and $1100
for the P75. This is NEGOTIABLE... just give me a call and we can
discuss things.
I am in Superior, CO but could drive or ship the computer.
