First, I consider this an entirely separate issue from whether the Promise Keepers are welcome in Boulder. I do not object to the PKs' presence in Boulder if they can keep their impact to a reasonable level, or at least I won't grouse about it any more than I mutter about the Bolder Boulder or CU football games. But, on the topic at hand I will say that your information is incorrect. A significant percentage of women seeking abortions are married. I regret than I cannot remember what percentage it is, but I recall that I was surprised when I read it; accidental pregnancy is so often looked at as a problem only for single women. Even if every unmarried person refrained from the kind of sex that could potentially lead to pregnancy, abortion would be needed. It's a very sad fact that contraception is as imperfect for married folks as it is for unmarried ones, and even a godly marriage may not be able to adequately raise a child at the time of an unplanned pregnancy. <sigh> I wish it were as simple as you make it out to be! I don't have much to say on the rest of what you said above because I don't know how to distinguish a selfish act of sensuality from an unselfish one without looking into the individuals involved, and I have no idea what sets a godly marriage apart from an ungodly one. In other words, I don't know what you mean, so I can neither agree nor disagree. I can only correct the factual error. Please note followups.
