Well, the fact that he is paid more than any proffessor here, He can't 
be fired, even tenured profs can although it would take a lot, and 
this is supposed to be an *EDUCATIONAL* institute might have a lot
to do with people's problems with him.  At one point in time the athletics
department defended their budget by saying they serve more student's than
the Chemestry department and that department got the same amount of money
was rediculous.  They only included chem majors, not all the students that
took classes from the chem department.  And the Chem department is there for
academics.  This is a whole big issue that should be treated separately
from pk tho.
