The Boulder County Libertarian Party will meet on Sunday, June 14 at 2
p.m. at The James Pub, on 13th just south of the Pearl Street Mall.
Libertarianism is the philosophy of the future, which some science-fiction
writers have recognized for years (e.g.,Robert Heinlein's "The Moon is a Harsh
Mistress"). LP State Party Communications Director Ron Bain will address the
topic; "Science Fiction and Libertarianism; A Match Made in the Heavens". A
lively discussion will surely follow. Additional topics to be discussed could
include privatization of municipal functions and citizen empowerment.
Ample opportunity for socializing will exist. Join us and see how accessible
and rewarding politics can be.
