CU, Boulder and Promise Keepers, have made the following traffic arrangements
for the Promise Keepers Conference Fri. July 29 and Sat. July 30.

Peak traffic hours are forecast to be
2-7 p.m. Friday
10p.m.-midnight Friday
6-9a.m. Saturday
10p.m.-midnight Saturday.

Traffic southbound on Broadway will not be allowed to turn east on 
Baseline.

If Table Mesa becomes too crowded it will also be closed to east bound
traffice from Broadway.

Delays are expected on Highway 119, Highway 93, Folsom, Colorado, 
Baseline, and US 36 during peak hours. Be aware of congestion on
US 36 at Louisville where many conference attendees will park in order to
catch buses to Folsom Field.

Motorists who enter campus without a parking permit will be redirected
to outlying lots away from campus.

40 CU and Boulder police officers will patrol and direct traffic during
the conference.


People leaving campus are encouraged to leave from the west side of campus 
and head north since the east entrance on Colorado is where the
approximately 800 buses being used to shuttle Promise Keepers from
outlying lots will be entereing and exiting campus. Traffic is expected
to be particularly bad at Regent and Colorado. Traffic will also be
aggravated by construction on Broadway along campus, and on Folsom
across from Folosom Stadium. 

Campus employees are urged to use alternative transportation on 
Friday.
