I agree 100% with you, Steve on moving all this PK crap elsewhere.

By the way, if you want to avoid "sifting", when you enter any newsgroup,
you can enter "=" (equal sign) and you'll get a listing of any unread
articles.  You can then enter the number of an article you want to read.
Once you're done reading things you're interested in, enter "c" to
mark everything that's left as read.  That's how I avoid all this PK crap!
