At 30 Nov 1994 17:36:49 GMT, Erika Stokes (estokes@bu.edu) said something along the lines of: : Am I alone in thinking that was an incredibly sexist and : prejudiced post? : --Erika incredibly sexist and prejudiced? Jeez, all he wanted was a tutor for his kid (or for someone else's, maybe). I wouldn't go jumping all over him calling him sexist in front of all of new england. You don't even know why he wants a woman. Maybe he wants to teach his kid sex ed and figured that a woman would be a better teacher. At the most, I'd say it's _just a tiny bit_ (emphasis on tiny) sexist, but hey, we dont' live in a utopia anyway and not everything's perfect <grin>. If you wanna talk about sexism and prejudice, I'm sure there are much better forums for debate than bu/mit/ne.forsale, and much more important issues that need discussion than whether Arash's 4th grader needs a woman or a man for a tutor. -Jeremy
