I've heard enough controversy about global warming to know that it is
not a universally accepted theory, yet Burke never showed any sign
of that. He just rushed on (for two hours!) as though global warming
were comparable to evolution in stature. To me that's biased and
dishonest.
I used to think that what he presented was fact and enjoyed learning
about things I didn't know about. But if he misrepresented something
once, he could be doing it all the time, I don't know. So I can't
trust him anymore.
He even used that same stupid analogy of the man falling from a high
building who says "things are ok so far". We don't know that the
man is falling and I'm insulted by the attempt to get away with
unsupported assumptions because that means he thinks we're stupid
enough to be taken in by such cheap tricks.
