To the best of my current knowledge they've pushed back the date for
cessation of spraying because they underestimated just how much they
botched it with respect to maintaining sterile flies in quantity (which
is what led to the current round of spraying.)  It was actually supposed
to have ended around the middle of this month, but here we are.
