The confiscations due to Lungren's 1997 change of mind occured in 1999.
Anyone that purchased an SKS Sporter between January 1, 1992, and December
19, 1997, had to do one of the following by January 1, 2000:

1. Destroy the rifle
2. Surrender the rifle to a law enforcement agency
3. Sell the rifle to a licensed California "assault weapon" dealer
4. Dispose of the rifle out of state

GUN CONFISCATION - brought to you by the guy GOA and GOC wanted elected
governor!!!!

What does any of that have to do with GOA and GOC endorsing vehemently
anti-gun Dan Lungren in 1998?

If you explain it, I'll answer it.

I'm not trashing anyone - just relating the FACTS. If I am in error in of
the FACTS I relate, please point them out.

Otherwise, I'll just assume you can't argue the content of the original
post, and are just trying to pick a fight. Obviously, like Nicholson said
"You can't handle the truth".

Geez, man - you pointed to it!

http://nrawinningteam.com/confiscation/calockyer.html

...that page explains that LOCKYER's "AW" CONFISCATION (different than
Lungren's SKS confiscations) started on 10/1/99 and lasted until 12/31/99.

But that has nothing to do with GOA or GOC... I don't THINK they endorsed
Lockyer (although after Lungren, one never knows).
