Ooh, be careful there Sam. You're making false accusations now. I hear you
can get in trouble for making false statements.

Davis wasn't worse - he didn't even have an anti-gun record yet in 1998. He
was just SPOUTING anti-gun rhetoric in his campaign. BUT GOA/GOC's
candidate...

Lungren had DONE IT ALL - voted for the Brady bill, confiscated guns,
extended waiting periods, stopped right-to-carry legislation, hosted HCI
fund-raisers. How can you call that guy better than Davis in 1998? How
could GOA and GOC *ENDORSE* (meaning they support his platform!) this gun
grabber? Tell me Sam!

Clearly, Sam loses the ability to make rational decisions when his
preconceived view of the world is challenged. Man, am I glad he's not in
California - he might try to get GOA and GOC to endorse Feinstein and Boxer
(and they MIGHT, too!)

No - GOA/GOC should have done what NRA did and refused to endorse either
Lungren or Davis. If they had principles, that is. Besides, look how
Lungren lost in a landslide - GOA sold out their members, and for what?

Now we know that GOA are puppets of the GOP - even the ANTI-GUN part of the
GOP - they obviously don't care.

Funny, it's GOA and GOC who always claimed to have a lock on "no
compromise", but in discussing 1998, all Sam can do is rationalize GOA and
GOC's "compromises".

And of course, California isn't Sam's state, so what does he really care?
He supports GOA, and we now know how committed THEY are to gun-rights.
