Jim, I have not always agreed with the NRA, but I always saw the NICS as a symbol of their strength, not as a loss. Not many organizations can force a compromise from a losing position, and the NRA managed to do so. I would love to have the old days of fill out the yellow sheet and then leave, with no wait and no background check, but it just wasn't going to happen. The NICS is the best we could get, and I am glad the NRA worked it out that way. Thanks Steve Rothstein
